Nicole (nikhak) has loved soccer since the first time she experienced the beautiful game. From her father bringing her to Chicago Power games in the early nineties all the way through her time playing with Chicago Magic, her passion continues to this day as a diehard Fire supporter and as the force behind the first supporters group of the Chicago Red Stars, Chicago Local 134. Nicole, with a few hands contributing to the cause, ran Chicago Local 134 in its first year of existence. Chicago Local 134 was instantly recognized by the rest of WPS’ fanatic group of followers as one of the few that set itself apart as a model of success. Nicole also was the first ever intern for the Chicago Red Stars for a short stint under her friend and former President/CEO of the Chicago Red Stars, Peter Wilt.
Whether you find Nicole organizing Local 134 activities, playing pick-up soccer in Pilsen, or travelling halfway across the country to support the Fire on the road, be sure that her passion for the sport is true and unwavering until the end.

Hey all! I’m Katie. I am a freshman GK at North Park University. I hail from the 815 (Chicagoland area) where my Mom, Dad, 2 younger sisters, Abby the Chocolate Lab and Budweiser (Buddy) the Cocker Spaniel currently reside while I live it up in the Chi. I have played soccer since I was a tot (5 y/o). People ask all the time how I became a GK … coach lined the team up and took shots at us … I was the only one who wasn’t scared of the ball, simple as that. In 2007 my club team traveled to USA Cup where we won our division and age level. My freshmen year of HS I was the starting GK for the varsity soccer team and held the spot all 4 years. As I mentioned already I play at NPU, I am the youngest GK on the team and currently hold a starting position. I hope to be an Athletic Training major and some day work with the “big dogs” in pro sports. I am far from perfect, I just strive to be the best ME possible.

A lifelong sports fan, Kim discovered soccer in high school when her basketball teammates asked their to be their goalkeeper for the summer. Soon she fell in love with the game and was playing year-round. Ironically, given part of what she loved about the game as a player was how little interference from coaches there was during games, Kim now coaches girls soccer in the Chicago area. She still plays in goal year-round.
