NIKE football unveils 2014 brazilian national team kit

What do you think? I quite like the simplicity.

The new home USA kits. Since the release yesterday, there have been very strong opinions from those who like them and those who don’t, but mostly from those who don’t. There’s always a uproar when they are released, but eventually it seems like the design ends up growing on most of us. I know I felt that way about the last USMNT kits with the sash; I didn’t care for them at first, but then I loved them and now I own one.

Personally, I [SMASH] like the new kits. A LOT. [Though clearly I’m a lover of red/white hoops being an FC Dallas fan.] Not only do I like the hoops and the overall look of the full kit, I very much like that Nike and U.S. Soccer is presenting a united front with both the USMNT and USWNT wearing them.

Taken from the Nike Football Facebook page… For the first time the USMNT & USWNT will wear the same jersey. Cast from the unifying colors of the American flag, the new USA home kit combines heritage and patriotism in a bold new design. Two teams. One jersey. United We Stand.” I love this.

What say you, fellow footy fans?

Here’s a follow-up to the video I just posted regarding the @ChicagoFire’s new jerseys and sponsorship.

redeyesportsguy: Quaker Oats is sponsoring the Fire jerseys this season.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club are kicking off a season of food, fitness and fun for the city’s soccer fans and families by naming Quaker as the club’s official Breakfast Foods & Nutritious Snacks Partner with the centerpiece of the partnership being the new 2012 jersey, which prominently features the famed Quaker logo in a powerful yet classic design.

Fire and Quaker Oats team up for multi-year sponsorship - [Chicago Fire]

I am torn on the new Chicago Fire jerseys.  I like them more than I thought I would, but with so much navy (and I love navy), I feel like they’re similar to the Revs. The classic Chicago flag stars are what really make those away jerseys stand out.  I’m excited to see them in person now.

And everyone outta stop hating on Quaker. Here are two thoughts:

1. Sponsorship money is great for the Fire. They were in dire need of the extra cash flow.

2. Quaker Oats is a local company, who better to represent the Fire than a company from Chicago?

What do you guys think of the new Fire jerseys, or any other new MLS jerseys for the 2012 season? Like um, leave um, love um… ??

So jealous that Canada rocks it in Umbro. Classy kits.

Just look at those jerseys. Yuck. I wasn’t sure how I felt about them, and I was going to give them a fair shot.  Now that I see them on a candid photo of the players they make me want to vomit.  They do not look athletic. They do not look like they’re made for the feminine athlete ever.  Their shape seems awkward and unflattering.

feelitinmyboneslove: Just look at that hair.

I am definitely in need of one of these amazing sequined Deutschland kits.
